Charlie Pickard is a London based Figurative Artist, illustrator, and author. Trained in the classical style and with a focus on a direct and spontaneous approach to oil painting, he is primarily interested in exploring the expressive qualities of colour and explorative alla prima brushwork. Charlie continues to create, write, exhibit, and teach from his London studio.

Charlie has recently collaborated with the publisher 3dtotal to author a book on color and light, exploring their fascinating interplay. Additionally, they have authored two books on anatomy for artists. His work is primarily exhibited in London and has exhibited in shows around England and Portugal.
